I've put up a video of the last time we met Middlesborough (in League 3 - 1986) at Somerton Park with Jimmy Mullen as manager. The quality is rubbish but at the time I was recording these clips directly from TV and we did'nt have the technology we now enjoy (Multi camera angles - Ha!).

2Never one to criticise voluteers, but isn't 33 years a little late?

4A great clip, Glyn, thanks for putting it up. Went to both the home and away game with Middlesborough that season, so good memories.
If you freeze the video at 1 minute 21 seconds you can count the empty seats in the stand.

5How soon we forget about the condition of pitches in those days and also noticed the attendance was below 3,000

6The only fun I can remember that year was Bromsgrove away in the cup, had to have a little jog back to the car through a little shopping area iirc

7Talking of nostalgia on the same Youtube page was the Pathe newsreel for the 1949 Cup final. Wolves v Leicester City. Not only did the team in black and amber beat Leicester but the final line of the match commentary from 70 years ago ( I kid you you not.) was.glyn wrote:Ah well, just a bit of nostalgia for old f ***s like me ! And it's curtains for Leicester as the Irishman smashes it home.
Spooky or what?
