Flynny spoke to James Collins before he signed for Ipswich.
Would have been awesome in league 2

5Too injury prone - he would have got slated on this board along with the others who are the same.
Re: James Collins
6Yes, both Crofts and Labadie are very decent players, especially for this level, but because of their injuries they often get slated.Mr Figo wrote:Too injury prone - he would have got slated on this board along with the others who are the same.
Re: James Collins
7I've watched Collins play a lot in his two spells at West Ham, he's very highly thought of there and is fondly known as Ginger Pele.
You won't find a more loyal, committed player who will throw himself into challenges every game, that's been the cause of a lot of his injuries. He tore up his last short-term contract with Villa the morning he got injured.
I can see why we spoke to him, but he's still way above League 2 standard.

Re: James Collins
8A mouthwatering thought, when he is 38 and slow,he may consider playing for us.If no one had come in for him,he would have said how pleased he is to play for his hometown Club.It just proves what we already knew, players will go for the money and there is no loyalty.
