My English Teacher after talking to me and reading one of my stories had to take time off on the sick. In fact he was off work for about 5 months after reading one of my stories. He asked the school if he could take early retirement. But they refused his request. After all to be fair to the headteacher he did consider his request. But after pointing out to my English teacher he still had 30 years left before he could officially retire (35 was a bit young to retire at the time).
