people have read what you wrote and pointed out to you that it is untrue that flynn has said that the team wasnt up for it on saturday or previously
people have then gone on to discuss things that are actually relevant
as to your actual question
why worry
we have a board that engage with fans and listen to what they have to say
we have a manager that has achieved the best 2 years in the clubs recent history
we have a much higher profile in the football world
we have money in the bank
we have an outside chance of making it to the playoffs this season
we have the basis of a competitive squad for next season already signed up
balanced against this
we have a few below par performances - only to be expected at our level
we have just over 4 years left on the lease at rodney parade - but the board are active in this area and hopeful of a positive outcome

all of these things are relevant, made up quotes by the manager are not
little surprise reasonable people would rather debate the relevant

Agree about made up quotes.

However

"We were very flat."

"It was difficult to watch."

"We were outplayed."

All quotes from Michael Flynn. To extrapolate from those words that County weren't up for it on Saturday is not unreasonable.

Amongst other things, what MF actually said was '.........we looked way off it.......'

Being off it, being flat, being outplayed etc are all realities of football and that's different to not being up for it which questions the teams attitude which really doesn't apply to this group. As I said previously we got beat by the better side on the day, it was a disappointing performance but the goal just before halftime killed us. Also having watched the first goal back its definitely handball. As MF rightly points out we did ok in the first 20 minutes. I've seen all types of performances this season but never have I thought we weren't up for it. Disappointing Saturday but at any level of football you get a couple of those performances in every season and I still believe we're more than capable of putting a run together, big game tonight but nothing to fear and I'm still not worried because the club is heading in the right direction.

After fifteen years you expect anything else?
His quote on MF was a fabricated lie and I would expect a real man to stand up and retract it not try to deflect it with yet another lie

When Kevin Ward published a whole load of damaging untruths about me, you didn't say that then.

Did you?

A few points
Firstly I hate Corkys negative posts but this time I feel he has a point.
Flat or not up for it are both poor comments for our manager to make.
Not one single contributor from what I read has given any credit to anybody apart from Joe.
A weeks rest and basically nobody stood out, that's dreadful.
I keep hearing about the progress this season.
Lets just talk league as we are all over the moon with the cup experience for sure.
Lets hope the million made does not go up in a puff of smoke like last years £700K profit did.
Unless something drastic happens we have made no progress.
To do so we need to get 16 points from our last 11 games.
Score at least a 9 goals increase against the opposition to improve GD
Move 2 places higher up the league.
If we don't we have gone backwards this year.
Its simple we have a quality defence, superb strikers, great right winger BUT a totally crap midfield.
Sure Flynny can see it .
Jury out on Labs but he needs to send the rest out this summer and start again.
Will be happy with a scrappy 1-0 tonight and we can still dream about the play offs.
A loss or even a draw I think that's it blown for this year.
Hope I am wrong.
Every time Flynny plays Robbie out wide we play well, put him in midfield we are awful.
Prove me wrong tonight lads please.

"we have a board that engage with fans and listen to what they say"

when did that start?

Lack of openess is as bad as ever.
I have no clue about RP/ WRU/ etc etc.
For a fan owned or run club its a joke.
No idea if I buy a pint in the tent do the club get anything from it.
4 supporters meetings each season. When was the last.
When is the next.
Total engagement.
Best laugh this week so far

Yes, that brought a wry smile to my lips. Could be worse of course, but could easily be better.

Agree , I am sure the Bolton , Coventry and Notts County supporters would love to have our perceived problems.

another simple one
at a recent home match i took advantage of there always being at least one member of the board available in the marquee prior to games to talk with supporters on any subject
i had an interesting and in depth discussion with a member of the board on a number of subject i consider to be important
i found the exchange open honest and informative
i felt that my views were listened to and taken on board
i was not the only one who took advantage of this engagement on the day

"we have a board that engage with fans and listen to what they say" - TRUE

the next time you are buying a pint in the tent i suggest you go over and have a chat as they are there every match
friday seems an ideal opportunity for you
perhaps you will come back on the message board afterwards and post about the experience
