Re: Meanwhile in Rectum
2Hilarious as Ebsfleet refused to warm up and still went 3 up. Good to see the scousers bottle it again.
Re: Meanwhile in Rectum
3Which rather begs the question as to how useful the warm up is anyway.
A generation ago, teams just came out at five to three and passed the ball around to each other during the coin toss. Now they are out for half an hour sprinting, playing five-a-sides, practicing jumping, heading etc, and using up a lot of energy in the process. Surely that is energy they haven't got in the last twenty minutes when many games are won and lost.
Anyone know how the science works on this?

4Just reading their forum. Some calling for another managerial change. Current one has been in charge for just five games! Seems that he played three recent signings yesterday and substituted all three at half time.
Re: Meanwhile in Rectum
5Each to their own ... but I just don’t get the obsession with em. Even in the midst of our cup run, some of us were posting on their forum giving it large?
And just in case anyone asks - yes, I’ve seen practically all our games there, inc this years cup match, so I get the rivalry, ..... when we play them!

Re: Meanwhile in Rectum
6Wrexham up as champions and Orient up via play-offs would have been fine with me.
I want to see all Welsh clubs in the English system reaching the highest level they can.

Re: Meanwhile in Rectum
11As funny as it is, I'd much rather have them up and playing us twice a year. What's the point in having rivals if you never play them?

Promoted on merit, maybe.
Unfortunately, their fans consider themselves "too big a club" for non-league football and still haven't got over Wembley '13.
