Saturday's fixtures
1Has anyone else noticed that on Saturday apart from Carlisle the top 12 are all playing each other.
Yes indeed, which would suggest that even after Saturdays results the last play off spots will still be unclear.butlinsamber wrote:Has anyone else noticed that on Saturday apart from Carlisle the top 12 are all playing each other.
I agree with your view on the season as a whole. It has been extremely good, one of the most exciting in my lifetime. Way beyond my expections. Perhaps an 'anticlimax' if we fail to reach the plays offs having got so close would be a better description .Barnabas wrote:A 'big downer'? Not for me.
At the start of the season quite a few on here were saying they were hoping for third bottom and to get to the third round of the cup. To be still in the promotion mix in the last week of the season, and to get to the fifth round for the first time for 70 years, beating Leicester City and Middlesbrough on the way, and then giving Man City a match - anyone who had predicted that in August would have been sectioned!
If we do it next week, great, but it's been a great ride this season whatever happens!
