Morning Gary,

Have to disagree. Macclesfield is gone now and we are still in the mix. Being of a certain age like yourself I can remember watching Bob Wilson hopping around like a one legged sparrow as Arsenal lost a must win game at Stoke 5-0. They still went on to do the double.

The most important game of the season is Lincoln on Saturday. If we are still in the mix at five o'clock Saturday the most important game of the season will be Oldham next Tuesday. Etc, etc, etc.

Accept Oldham won't get into the playoffs if Exeter win their final two games.
Accept or except?

It's simple,

1) If Exeter win both their games they are not definitely in the play-offs, because of (2)
2) If we win all our 3 games we will definitely be in the play-offs
3) If Oldham win all their 3 games they will definitely be in the play offs (because they would then have won games against Exeter and us in the process)

Reaching the play off`s would be amazing, (seeing the state of our last set of account record`s) winning promotion would be commercial suicide at this time, there fore another couple of season`s of consolidation would be far more effective, ie,

1, Seek investment.
2, Secure deal to play at Rodney Parade long term.
3, Improve our playing squad.
4, Increase our fan base.
To name a few.
