I'm hoping 6 but does anyone think 4 would do it
FGR semi final is what we want
Re: Could 4 points be enough
2I'd have been happier if Oldham had got a draw at Exeter on Saturday! I think we have to assume 6 points as FGR may well take the day off at the weekend!
Re: Could 4 points be enough
33 would do it if Exeter lose and there is a huge GD swing against any other candidate that wins.UPTHEPORT wrote:I'm hoping 6 but does anyone think 4 would do it

Re: Could 4 points be enough
5If Tranmere win against Bury on Tuesday, FGR will drop to 6th going into the last game

Re: Could 4 points be enough
7Considering we didn't beat Macclesfield, these last two games we need to be winning BOTH games, job done. That'll put us on 73 pts and it won't matter what Exeter do then. Neither of our final two opponents have anything to play for, but we do....there can be no excuses for not lifting our game.

10In answer to the question, I think yes 4 points and we could still do it, correct me if I'm wrong.

11We'd make a lot less money and only season ticket holders would get tickets.UPTHEPORT wrote:Easier to get to and closestMarky wrote:Why would we want to play the team with the smallest ground?
Re: Could 4 points be enough
12Four points will be enough if Exeter fail to win their last game.
Whilst three points mathematically could be enough it would require Exeter, Carlisle, Colchester and Stevenage to all fail to win next Saturday. Not impossible but I think unlikely.. Although if we stick at least five on Oldham it might take Stevenage out of the equation.

4 would have been more realistic if FGR hadn't let 2 goals in after being 3-2 up in the 87th minute. Now they can't get automatic promotion, chances are that their mind will already be on the play offs.
Think we need 6
Re: Could 4 points be enough
14One thing we absolutely need is at least a point tomorrow so worst case we're only relying on one team slipping up!
Re: Could 4 points be enough
15Can't imagine FGR will be too bothered about the Exeter game.Their minds are firmly on the play offs.Cooper will probably make some changes and treat it as a warm up for the following week. Therefore,Exeter will more than likely win.We need two wins.
