Been thinking about this, now i could be wrong here but flynny has been looking and talking to new signings for weeks now. Has he got a sets of players he's eying up or would his signings be up to league 1 standard? If we don't go up will he still sign same players?

So what about players we want to sign we got two different lists for that?

I should think we have about 10 different lists with a variety of targets depending on who signs what that they've already been offered, which will depend on which division we're in.

Different game in L1 to L2 regarding contracts, some players might actually have transfer value and the contract durations would need to reflect that, plus you're unlikely to be able to dip into the vagaries of non-league contracts and find a L1 player in the way you might in L2. And we won't be signing any L1 level players if we're not promoted, because that way lies 1988/89 all over again.

We have a few players who have a relatively high profile due to the cup runs who may not wish to spend another season at a small L2 club but would happily sign a new deal at a small L1 team.
