As Mansfield were quite dominant in midfield for the first 60 minutes I’d start (if fit) Labadie and Croft’s in place of Dolan and Sheehan.
Sheehans been excellent recently but looked a bit lightweight against the Mansfield midfield. If we don’t control the midfield early on we may ship an early goal.

Re: What would your team be for the 2nd leg?
2I'd go
Day
Pipe Poole OB Mickey Butler
Bennett
Labs Sheehan
Matt Podge
But zero chance of Wilmott being dropped so no Pipe.

Re: What would your team be for the 2nd leg?
4They will stick to the same 3-5-2 formation and try and overload our midfield like they did in the first leg. Therefore Labadie is a must start or I can see us struggling.
Day
Poole O’Brien Demetriou Butler
Bennett
Willmott Labadie Dolan
Matt Amond

Re: What would your team be for the 2nd leg?
5Can we be Man City for the day !!
Seriously ....
Same starting line up apart from Labs in for either Dolan or Sheehan .
Or we could go with Matt and Azeez up front with Podge just behind ?

Re: What would your team be for the 2nd leg?
6I’d like us to bring in Labadie and possibly even Crofts too. I think we need to be much tougher in the midfield. Also wouldn’t mind if we went 3-5-2 so that we have a bit more width and some more attacking options. We didn’t get down the flanks much at all on Thursday and I’d like us to do more than hopeful long balls hoping for something to happen from the second ball.
Re: What would your team be for the 2nd leg?
7Usually feel slightly uncomfortable stating what team should be picked etc as we have professionals for that. However, based on what I saw on Thursday, surely Labs must start.
Re: What would your team be for the 2nd leg?
8What I’m sure of is I think the entire team performance will have to be notched up a level or two from Thursday if we’re to get through.
Re: What would your team be for the 2nd leg?
9I'd go for a 4 3 1 2 line up.
Day, Poole O'brien Demetriou Butler, Bennett Labadie Sheehan, Amond, Matt and Azeez.

Re: What would your team be for the 2nd leg?
12The midfield certainly were found out against Mansfield. Dolan and Bennett were off the pace and outsmarted and outwitted. Labadie and Crofts do add a physicality and calm, calculated approach. What Labadie adds is a fear factor to the opposition they know he has an edge to him and he can intimidate players. Crofts has a wealth of experience which will help under pressure and help calm tricky situations.
The defence picks itself so does the strike force although adding 3 upfront with Azeez could be an option.
Possibly playing Mckirdy instead of Willmott on the right flank who has pace and is direct.

Re: What would your team be for the 2nd leg?
13I'd add both Labs and Crofts to the midfield, to the expense of Dolan and Shehan, with no disrespect to either, and whilst I'd prefer a back three, with five in the middle, would prefer Bennett in front of the defence with Butler and Poole as wing backs, and Amond/Matt strikeforce! I love the effort of both Wilmott and Azeez, but feel this would give us a starting line up competent of doing the job on the night!

How long do you think he'd last?
Re: What would your team be for the 2nd leg?
15I agree with Corpaboy, Mike Wilks and others: Labadie and Crofts should start; our midfield has been 'found out' all season. Dolan and Sheehan can be on the bench; Poole has been poor on several occasions lately; I would play Pipe but I doubt that MF will do any of this.
