Re: Coaches to Wembley - Info
3I considered this one, but if the match has 7 mins added on each half of the normal 90 (which it might)...then it goes to extra time, with a little bit of time added....then penalties....then presentation & celebration time if County win, then physically getting out of the stadium... 6:00pm may be pushing it a bit. It'd be ok if we lose in the regulation 90 mins, but when planning you need to allow for other eventualities, which is why I ruled this one out.rosso exile wrote:Another option? 4I did swap emails with them and they said they will delay return time in event of ET/pens. Their website says they are running to FAC and for all clubs in PO finals so hopefully they are on the ball with this. PS don't you mean if we win in regulation time?

5Newport to Wembley in two and a half hours??
I'm sure he did indeed mean 'if we lose', as that would mean leaving the stadium with no celebration time.

6...in that case, the advert has been incredibly poorly presented: trying to find coaches back for a reasonable price mid-evening was very difficult. I ended up with paying £22 but not as convenient a departure time or location:rosso exile wrote:I did swap emails with them and they said they will delay return time in event of ET/pens. All they needed to do was add the line *late departure if match goes to penalties and I'd have know it's ok to book. I don't tend to chase around after info, I take offers at face value as I see them. Shame that!
Re: Coaches to Wembley - Info
7I paid the same and was given coach Number 22, which is leaving the Newport Stadium carpark at 08.00 Saturday morning.

12Good point although I do like my own company. Not many single seaters out there.
Although I am the lone message boarder on board the 27th coach.

13Last time I travelled on a County coach it was a Dick Bussusto one, and my legs were stuck out in the aisle because, being a tall git, I couldn't fit in very well. Have they improved?
I'm leaning towards driving but I may need to recruit a couple of MB oiks to help with petrol costs.
Edit: I mean drive my car, not the #27 coach. They won't let me
