I wish it to be known that I am 100% against these contraptions, which in my view are too high to get over quickly, too narrow to climb through in an emergency, and too long unbroken to allow safe escape in the event of a fire/terrorist attack/ riot/ wall collapse, and any other emergency incident that hasn't been considered.
If they'd had these at Bradford, HUNDREDS would have died, being unable to quickly get to the front to safety, or indeed in a 'Hillsbrough style' crush situation. They are not broken often enough to allow passage through. Some grounds have HUGE seating areas.
These are an absolute tragedy waiting to happen in my view, and you can quote me!
