5Ok, if you missed this tonight, you must find it on iplayer.
A great programme that everyone should watch. It will enable the younger (& some older) fans to appreciate what has been achieved in the last 30 years.
Well done BBC Wales.

Re: The team that wouldnt die
7Excellent documentary and I see that it was co-produced and directed by Steve Horton, would that be the same person who used to film a lot of County games?
Re: The team that wouldnt die
8Yes, Steve and his colleague Francis Jones have spent the last couple of years filming, interviewing and gathering material to produce this documentary which was then taken up by the BBC.

9Very good prog last night, I understand that they couldn't show all of our recent history including Wembley visits because it would be a 2 hour programme.
Jeff certainly wears his heart on his sleeve and good on him.

10Lovely programme, usually early to bed after a few beers on match days but glad I stayed up with a final lager.
Re: The team that wouldnt die
11Just watched it. Superb programme. They did use footage of the old BBC Wales Jerry Sherman programme from a few years back as well.
They 'bigged up' Charlie Hopkins role which was good to see. Even today I am not fully aware of the complete role he played but thank goodness he was in the toilets having a chat at one of our early games. The outcome of that chat changed the clubs future. A lot of people are responsible for getting us to where we are today but that chat was probably the most important in County history. As the programme mentioned, our most important result was getting the ruling in the High Court.
Even the title of the programme was spot on. We are a small tin pot club, who ply our trave against bigger and better financed clubs on a weekly basis. Sometime we do battle against giants of the game. We can hold our heads up with anyone within the game. Brilliant. If this programme doesn't make you feel proud to be a County fan, then nothing will. Just watch Jeff Challingsworth in the programme to see what I mean. C'mon the County.

Re: The team that wouldnt die
12Fantastic programme. Brought today and the past together really well. Well done all involved!
Re: The team that wouldnt die
13Enjoyed the programme, and as a bonus, the wife saw her late father on the footage in the crowd at Somerton Park.
Re: The team that wouldnt die
14The standout moment shown from the Cup run has to be the tap in from Dolan at Middlesbrough.
