Haynes is 23. It's a bit early in his career for him to be compared with a guy who was close to retirement. It's a bit mean-spirited to start a thread for no other reason than to diss a new player's injury record.

Yes, only one game but looked every bit as good as Butler and looks to get into better positions before crossing

Why would nobody pass him the ball later on in the game. He was out on the left on his own, yet the ball kept being sent down the middle or out to the right. Strange.

Thought we would really miss Butler, but he might actually be an upgrade for me.

Butler will take some replacing,good start by Haynes in first half.Bit early to sing his praises yet,remember Azeez had a very good first game,O'Sullivan looked tremendous etc.I was surprised he played considering he hasn't had any gametime due to injury and was expecting Nurse out there.Granted,if that is a less than match fit performance then he could be pretty good when he is up to speed.
