Re: Next game
2If we kept a clean sheet then, you could argue for the same team.OB has great organisational skills and so it would be hard not to bring him back.
Re: Next game
6I would definitely bring OB in as he is the organiser of back line. I would not drop Matty, he did well on Saturday, looked fit and won aerial ball..
Re: Next game
7We've got a great track record against Cambridge . Go with our strongest available 11 .
For me , that includes O'Brien .
No criticism of Howkins who I thought did ok .
OB and Mickey D have to be our first choice partnership in central defence though ??

8Agree with thatSpecial branch wrote:Definitely bring O' brien back in. Also give Whitely a start.
Re: Next game
9Did Howkins look up to the task? Seems strange to bring in a player who was third choice for much of last season when we've signed 3 players you'd expect to be better than that... imagine we hadn't brought Mickey back?
Re: Next game
10Cambridge have just signed experienced L2 striker Marc Richards, ex Swindon, Northampton and Port Vale. He will be out to make an impression on Saturday if picked.
Re: Next game
13Plus 1 in another game, cup probably. 5 in 31. Ellison could still do it at that age.Amberexile wrote:Just turned 37 years of age, 4 goals in 30 league matches last season
Re: Next game
15Nah. Richards has consistently been a 1 in 3 striker. Never shite. He's never relied on his pace, hence his longevity.
