Advance ticketing

Given how well we're performing at the moment, I'm sure a lot of punters are going to our website to buy tickets online. Yet, as usual, we don't offer the opportunity to buy tickets for more than the next one or two home matches.

Between now and the end of October, we'll play at home on four occasions - but at the time of writing (Monday morning, 30th September), it's only possible to buy tickets for Carlisle next Saturday.

Around this time of the month, lots of us are getting paid and have money in the bank. Many of us might want to bulk-buy tickets now before other financial commitments eat up our surplus income. It's weird that we're unable to do so. There may be good reason why we can't offer tickets for every home game between now and May, but offering them for every home game in the next month is something that most clubs at our level seem to manage.

Anyone know the reason why we don't?

Certainly don't understand why these tickets aren't for sale much further in advance either. Would have thought a good ploy would be to offer a ticket for the midweek leasing cup match at a nominal price for anyone buying tickets for the 3 home league matches for October. On reflection, the same nominal price for season ticket holders should be offered as well, given what will surely be a very small attendance?
