Given how well we're performing at the moment, I'm sure a lot of punters are going to our website to buy tickets online. Yet, as usual, we don't offer the opportunity to buy tickets for more than the next one or two home matches.
Between now and the end of October, we'll play at home on four occasions - but at the time of writing (Monday morning, 30th September), it's only possible to buy tickets for Carlisle next Saturday.
Around this time of the month, lots of us are getting paid and have money in the bank. Many of us might want to bulk-buy tickets now before other financial commitments eat up our surplus income. It's weird that we're unable to do so. There may be good reason why we can't offer tickets for every home game between now and May, but offering them for every home game in the next month is something that most clubs at our level seem to manage.
Anyone know the reason why we don't?
Re: Advance ticketing
2I agree. In the “old days” we used to sell a ticket that allowed entry to the next 3 games, at a discount.

Certainly don't understand why these tickets aren't for sale much further in advance either. Would have thought a good ploy would be to offer a ticket for the midweek leasing cup match at a nominal price for anyone buying tickets for the 3 home league matches for October. On reflection, the same nominal price for season ticket holders should be offered as well, given what will surely be a very small attendance?
Re: Advance ticketing
4Since we have no Club Membership Scheme, and therefore no 'Members' Pre-Sale' or any kind of priority, we should have all tickets available from the off.
Only reason not to, would be technical reasons related to our ticket sales system...

5Asking for a friend.
When purchasing tickets online, even if you log in, do you always have to re-key your name, address, bank details?
I do. It's a PITA

6Personal details can be stored by setting up an account. Payment details have to be entered for each transaction.JonD wrote:Asking for a friend.

7Cheers.
I have an account but oddly nothing is ever retrieved when I log in.
Not a massive problem. It's just irritating.

Re: Advance ticketing
8A week until our game against Crawley and one still cannot buy tickets online for the game. I know it's not going to sell out, but I cannot for the life of my fathom why the club still haven't put them on sale.
Re: Advance ticketing
10Here's the real kicker - tickets have been available to Creepy Crawley fans since 23rd September!
Jack - you should be able to select seats when buying online. Certainly I've been able to do so when buying in the last few years!
