Brilliantly, and as a sign of how poky the competition is, last season Bohemians from the (southern) Irish league had to withdraw at the Quarter Final stage because the Irish season had finished, and the game on the only date they were able to play was postponed 7 minutes before kick off and they were unable to rearrange it as their team were then out of contract and/or on holiday. This after East Fife's fans had travelled to Dublin... :shock:
