A few observations. I thought Scunthorpe were, by some distance, the worst team we've played so far. Therefore, it's a bit of a concern that we weren't out of sight, in fact they had a great chance to get a point at the end. Booking Macnamara was the right decision, their player had a clear pathway to our penalty area. However, he had the ideal opportunity to make a point to Scunthorpe ten minutes later, but did nothing when Junior Brown committed an identical foul. Then there was what looked a red card foul by their substitute on Ryan Innis. He jumped into the tackle in a very reckless manner. I'd be interested to hear opinions after seeing the TV angle. Nothing was shown on the Quest programme (other than the goals and a couple of attempts at goal.

I have to say that is the closest assessment of the match I’ve seen on here I would of been gutted to come away with less than 3 points.

I did wonder if the young ref having two much older assistants meant the League thought he needed close mentoring.

The trouble with that theory is that both Assistants were very poor as well.

It still works as a theory! One did manage to get him to change his mind on a throw-in on the Bisley side.

Wasn't that on the Hazells side? The assistant on the Bisley side seemed to be in some kind of a trance. Normally you do get some sign of life, the occasional smile or shake of the head, but not on Saturday.
