Unlike some other players,he is fully committed to us and doesn't run his contract down or court other offers.His Countryman OB is the same,sign up no messing about.Great news.

I'm glad he's signed but to me the contract length is a year too long considering his age. Hopefully he can start scoring goals and maintain this up to the end of his contract.

Flynny has to leave him as a striker,none of this dropping back into midfield or chasing back covering fullbacks.No wonder he appeared a bit jaded,he was being run into the ground.He is too honest for his own good sometimes,let him concentrate on scoring goals.

We could be asking that of any of the current squad?
Think it's a shrewd move on the players part. Unlikely to get that length of contract elsewhere given his age. Also I understand he is helping out when he can coaching some of the academy teams, and has expressed an interest in obtaining coaching badges. could therefore prove an asset to the club in the future, other than as a player.

Our next manager I imagine, hence the length of the contract.

Wouldn’t surprise me. Seems like an intelligent guy and is doing well coaching in the youth setup by all accounts

Perhaps it indicates the contract has an option for either/both parties for an extra year..
