Let's face it, while Macclesfield are facing financial difficulties and are no Real Madrid, they represent a town with their own fanbase, history and traditions. Football will have truly lost it's roots if we allow reserve sides of the greedy elite a place in the league over them. If Man United, Chelsea, Liverpool or whoever want to develop their youngsters then they play them or loan them out.DeePeeNCAFC wrote:Let's face it, Man It's U21s are more sustainable and will offer more good football than Macclesfield can ever hope to do. Repeat the same for Clelsea U21s v Leyton Orient, Notts Forest U21s v Mansfield or his help us, Swansea U21s v Newport County.
