''We battled well''
''We should have got a point , its just down to an individual error''
''We lost Robbie in the warm up and it threw our game plan into touch''
'' We will take it on the chin , work hard and be ready next week''
Which , if not all will be the excuses MF gives the press ??

All since Lincoln and the Northampton game.
We were crap before but we kept getting away with it.
Found out?

And you don’t think Lennie is helping already? What do you think he’s doing then, having a jolly day out? Behave.

Not its not only his tactics that are predictable

Ffs Corky, change Flynn to pretty much every manager in football and you’ll hear the same shit spoken to the press week in week out.
You obviously don’t rate Flynny, so who would you like to see come in to change our fortunes?

Paul Tisdale
Re: FOUR ON THE BOUNCE
23The same Paul Tisdale that had Exeter firmly rooted at the bottom of the table just over 3 years ago.
That was a pretty bad run they had

Re: FOUR ON THE BOUNCE
24Just read Flynny in the Argus.
What a load of Tosh.
1 corner late in the game.
1 shot at the dying end on target and he says we improved and competed well.

Yes but he got them out of it , got MKD promoted and had Exeter playing football , not hoofball.
Ok he had a bad time this year at MKD and got sacked but with his track record of finding players and selling them for £millions (Grimmes , Watkins and Stockley to name three ) certainly helped Exeter out , who IMO are about the same sized club as us
Re: FOUR ON THE BOUNCE
26You should read up on Exeter before offering them up as same sized club, perhaps look at their beneficial terms of ground occupancy, joint ventures with Developers and councils, student accommodation benefits, league status and longevity, then ask yourself would Tisdale have achieved more here than MF, with the budget and infrastructure we had/have, compared to Exeter?neilcork68 wrote:Morganrum wrote:The same Paul Tisdale that had Exeter firmly rooted at the bottom of the table just over 3 years ago.

Re: FOUR ON THE BOUNCE
27Changing the manager isn’t always the answer , but changing the recruitment process might be , our squad looks old and hasn’t evolved.

Re: FOUR ON THE BOUNCE
29After 122 games, this is our longest run of consecutive EFL defeats under Mike Flynn.
Re: FOUR ON THE BOUNCE
30I have said this on other threads. This bad run was bound to happen because it happens to every manager. The test for Flynn is how he responds.
Thus far he has taken the normal route, firstly say that the poor performances were unlucky, or we're improving or a bad day at the office and when that fails, blame the players.
He may learn, some do or he may go the way of the majority of managers in football who disappear altogether. Time will tell.
Quite why Foxy and Wardy saw fit to give him a pay rise after the Lincoln fiasco is beyond me. It has always been a mystery to me why others failed to see that at the time. Perhaps now they do.
