I appreciate posters saying dont worry we're only halfway through the season or Exeter are in second place in the table etc, etc.
Sorry but I am now worried. As soon as you start looking down the table instead of up it spells trouble.
Let's not fool ourselves we are in trouble. I am not saying get rid of Flynny but our next two games are critical. Two more losses and the board must review the position.
Its not only the fact we are losing games it's more about how we are losing.
I'm a County fan, I have been since the early 60's, so I don't want to lose Flynny but neither do I want to lose our league status. 25 years was a long time to wait the last time.
If we don't get anything from the next two I hate to say it but a change might be the only way.
Re: Looking up or down
2We won’t go down, but that’s not the point. football clubs have to keep moving forward and if flynn and also the board have taken us as far as they can then we need to replace them and move on.allontheamber wrote:I appreciate posters saying dont worry we're only halfway through the season or Exeter are in second place in the table etc, etc.

3Based on the assumption of course that you have people to replace them with. As far as the board is concerned I didn't realise we had an alternative. please enlighten me if you or anyone else knows differently.CasuallyCounty wrote:We won’t go down, but that’s not the point. football clubs have to keep moving forward and if flynn and also the board have taken us as far as they can then we need to replace them and move on.allontheamber wrote:I appreciate posters saying dont worry we're only halfway through the season or Exeter are in second place in the table etc, etc.

I share your concerns, however, and if we continue in this current form for the rest of the season then relegation is indeed possible. As it presently stands 1 team will be.
Re: Looking up or down
4with the board I reckon it’s foxhall and sean Johnson who are the main decision makers so maybe it’s time for a couple of the others to step up to Chairman and vice chairman.OLDCROMWELLIAN wrote:Based on the assumption of course that you have people to replace them with. 5I said after the Morecambe game, '' give him two more games, lose both and get rid''. I stand by that. I now feel that anything less than three points against Leyton Orient and Cheltenham should be the same consequencesallontheamber wrote:I appreciate posters saying dont worry we're only halfway through the season or Exeter are in second place in the table etc, etc.

Re: Looking up or down
6Question who if we get rid of flynn would you have to replace him .And to what cost paying up flynns contract and replacing him with a quality manager if available.
He i think should be judged on the qualiy of players brought in during the transfer window

Re: Looking up or down
7Up we're still 2 points better off than Exeter were after 21 games in the 2016/17 season and they finished 5th. They started their run from about game 18 but had a shocking start stood by Tidsdale and reaped the rewards.
For me it's important to get through something as a group, we've done it before and when we come out of this run everyone will be better for it.
Yes we need a couple of wins and possibly a bit of luck but sticking together is what makes you stronger in the longer term.
I'll stand by what I've said all season and am yet to see 1 side that I thougt bloody hell they're a different level to us and that includes Swindon.
Exeter are second they weren't a different level.

10your loyalty is spot on but at what point is enough in your eyes? i say if we don’t get 4 points from the next 3 matches then we need to changesupporter wrote:Stick together that's all I'll say, it builds spirit.
Re: Looking up or down
11I honestly wouldn't change anytime soon because the longterm benefits of getting through this will outweigh the short term fix.
Let's look a bit deeper everyone is screaming for Collins to start but if he had a real quad problem then it could've been a disaster, give the people close to the sports science and with the day to day knowledge the credit for making the right decision yesterday. For me Collins has had a better start than Connor Washington who barely played in his first full season but what a second season because his first season was managed perfectly, so let the manager and coaches do their job.
I have no idea how the next 2 games will go but win them and Cheltenham lose tomorrow then we'll be 2 points behind them with 2 games in hand, 3 weeks ago I think they were third that's how quickly things can change in this league.
Keep saying it but this is a second half of season run division, if we can do that then we'll give ourselves a chance, if not sometimes you've just got to show loyalty and let people work through it.

Re: Looking up or down
12I really like Flynny but I’m beginning to be inclined to agree but I’m worried we can’t afford to get rid, has he done enough in the past for us to give him January? Having said that, do we trust him with any cash we have for the window? Wrong decisions now could be disastrous for us. Can we afford RP in the conference? I doubt it.reebok0165 wrote:I said after the Morecambe game, '' give him two more games, lose both and get rid''. I stand by that.
