I admire your optimism. am very worried though. I think flynny has been busted with most teams being able to work his tactics out. and his recruitment hasn’t been good at all so would want us to waste all our spare cash in January.UPTHEPORT wrote:CasuallyCounty wrote:Who trusts flyn with the transfer kitty?

He deserves the chance to turn it around. After all, look at the record the board has at appointing managers.
We’ve two games in hand that if we win puts us 3 points behind big spending Plymouth, we’ve hardly played a settled side over the last 9 games through injuries. Some fans have short memories.

Five current (6 including manager) and lots of previous.

Have you see us play before coming out with ''a win can put us 3 points behind Plymouth''....We have only taken one point from the two games we played against the bottom two teams in the league in this dreadful run we are on and you talk of winning a game and that was a very late equaliser
Re: 3 POINTS FROM THE LAST 9 GAMES
20I missed today throwing up no booze involved!
I firmly believe sometimes you've got to work through things and come out the other side, I believe we have enough character to do that. Stick with Flynn and we will see longterm benefits I'm sure of that.

Re: 3 POINTS FROM THE LAST 9 GAMES
21I'd like to think that today was a step on the way to 'coming out on the other side'. I thought we played well, especially as the game went on. Some people have set their brain on critical setting and won't see it any other way. I really enjoyed the match. I haven't said that of late. It was more than just George Nurse, there were a number of good performances and heaps of effort.supporter wrote:I missed today throwing up no booze involved!

Sorry you couldn't make it.
Sure brother will fill you in though.
Get well for Wednesday.
Seen far worse this season
Cheers Frank
Re: 3 POINTS FROM THE LAST 9 GAMES
23Thank you , That’s really interesting, I thought the whole squad was made up of crap Elite management players and Flynny was popping champagne corks every night, but are you saying we only have 5 ?sblair1979 wrote:https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/elite-m ... rater/4594Spiderman wrote:Does anyone know the players we’ve had over the years from Elite management or how many from our current squad are linked to Elite ?
Five current (6 including manager) and lots of previous.
I make that the following,
Padraig Amond - Club legend who’s goals have secured hundreds of thousands in FA cup money
Lewis Collins - Lewis’s brother made us £90k through the same management company (so easy to see why Lewis has signed up) incidentally isn’t everyone clamouring for him to start ?
Tristan Abrahams - Started the season excellent and is young with potential but seems to have lost confidence.
Danny McNamara - Has performed well and hasn’t let the club down in any capacity.
Taylor Maloney - Fair to say he’s looked lightweight despite scoring a hat trick that’s helped earn the club an extra £30k.
Previous players include
Dan Butler - Feeney
Joe Day - Edinburgh
Jamie Turley - Feeney
Conor Washington - Edinburgh
Lee Evans - Edinburgh
Alex Gilbey - Edinburgh
Arron Collins - Flynn / Edinburgh
Regan Poole - Flynn / Edinburgh
Mark Byrne - Edinburgh
Andrew Hughes - Edinburgh
Harry Mckirdy- Flynn
Lamar Reynolds - Flynn
Sid Nelson - Westley
Grego Cox - Westley
Admittedly all the players haven’t come off , but it’s fair to say there’s some club legends in that list who’ve helped get us to where we are today.

54 players on the list and 1 manager and we have had 20 go through the club or are still at the club..
That to me isnt right and VERY POOR scouting...(ha ha) from Michael Flynn.
Even the loan signings he gets come from that agency
Questions should be asked to the BOD as to why we rely on them so heavily ??????
A cynical person could ask why and for what reasons we use them so much ?????
you scratch my back , wink wink etc
So the 'hot new prospect' that he was so excited about when he signed him that MF was watching / had watched play and impressed him ( Reynolds ) was a client of the same agency as the manager.....Hmmmmmmmm,,,,,,make your own mind up
all these boys he gets from Championship sides on loan also turn out to be Elite Management clients......
#Hmmmmmm , you decide...
I know where my thoughts are
Re: 3 POINTS FROM THE LAST 9 GAMES

Have a look at the list , it’s quite surprising , odd how you picked on the one that didn’t come off

27I make it 19, four of which made us over £800k, who’s the other one?
Re: 3 POINTS FROM THE LAST 9 GAMES
28Here are some more stats, this is the agents fees paid out over the last two seasons. I can’t think of many clubs that would swap our income from our outlay of £50k. Ironically , the two most stringent clubs last season were Bury & Macclesfield.

Re: 3 POINTS FROM THE LAST 9 GAMES
29The point you miss is that these figures only reflect direct payment. If you wish to hide the figures you simply pay the player who in turn pays the agency. And that figure is simply not known.Spiderman wrote:Here are some more stats, this is the agents fees paid out over the last two seasons. Re: 3 POINTS FROM THE LAST 9 GAMES
30At the end of the last decade we were playing Dorchester Town in Conference South. Whilst we’re on a bad run we have to remember we’ve come a long way and made some great memories this decade. If you’d offered to me where we are today 10 years ago I’d have bitten your hand off. Happy new year all!
