If we can afford him I’d say go for it.
I bet having someone like him on board will add a few more fans on the gate too.
Also I don’t think the club should be seen to be ‘giving up’ on the season as we’re pretty much safe from relegation as fans will give up too.

It is true we have two games in hand, but away trips to Cheltenham an Grimsby may not yield too many points. It is true we are 12 points clear of relegation but if we can make up 12 points from the beginning of March I don't think it beyond the realms of possibility that Morecambe or Macclesfield can from the beginning of January.

4 points from 10 games is not lower mid table. 4 points from the next 10 games and come March we are in a real scrap.

Now before someone says that I have said I think we will be relegated, let me be clear I don't think we will. However in two and a half months we have fallen 14 League places. Look at the league table, remember that sobering fact and remember two and a half months from now is still only mid March.
