Superb 90 minutes of football from both sides.
We could of with a bit of luck had 6 tonight.
Regan outstanding for them and what a great tussle with George Nurse who had a superb first half.
Found our right back. Dom excellent game. Healey came on walked up to him body checked him in the ribs and Jefferies just shrugged and pushed him away.
Unbelievable miss one on one with the keeper from Padraig, would of been 10 if he had rounded the keeper and tapped it in.
Ref diabolical blowing for every tidy tackle.
Dons brought over 100 for a Mickey Mouse cup.
Seriously if you want football entertainment you have to invest £7 for a great evening.
Flynny you have seen how well the boys can play football and score so please no hoofball to Matt anymore.
Did Townsend have to make a save, nope.

Townsend 7 Just wish he would start play by a simple throw out to Nurse or Haynes
Haynes 6 Very quiet again
Inniss 7 Impressive rock solid
OB 6 Ok nothing wrong
Jefferies 8 Superb game
Dolan 7 Best I have seen him this season
Sheehan 6 Quiet for him
Bennett 7 Calm
Abrahams 6 Looked tired all night
Amond 9 Should of had a hat trick but great well worked free kick for his first
Nurse 8 Marvellous first half tussle with Poole

Howkins 6 nothing wrong
Polleon 4 Hopeless no idea how he has played league football
Collins not on long enough for a mark

Healey was poor when he came on. Didn't realise he played for them. didn't notice Alec.
Regan had a superb game.

Our defence was superb and by the whistle MK Dons were well beaten side.
£40K superb and fourth round here we come.
Could of been 10 if Podge had of rounded the keeper ? Explain ??

County, Exeter, Portsmouth and one from Bristol Rovers or Stevenage in the Southern section.
It's Quarter Final draw and isn't regionalised.

5.1.4 Quarter Finals.

(i) The eight winners from the Round of 16 will contest the quarter-finals.

(ii) Quarter-final pairings are determined by means of an unseeded draw. There will be no regionalisation of the draw.

(iii) The Club drawn first is the Home Club.

(iv) Matches will be of ninety minutes duration, with no extra time. If the scores are level then the winners shall be determined by the taking of kicks from the penalty mark in accordance with procedures as approved by IFAB.

County are among the final eight.
County
Exeter
Portsmouth
Bristol Rovers or Stevenage
Leicester City U21's
Salford
Accrington
Scunthorpe or Man City U21's

Quarter finals come next, this was round 3
Yes, but the quarter finals are also labelled southern (and northern) semi-finals. We are in the last eight, definitely quarter finals.
Thanks for the correction, Reebok. Last year the quarter finals were regionalised. New arrangements this year. I suppose the first hope will be for a home draw. Fingers crossed for Stevenage tonight?

Correct.
In the scheme of things it didn't matter but that was unbelievable.
When he went clear every one cheered and then the groan came.
You would of put your dinner on him scoring but just hit it straight at the keeper who was pretty useless as well.

Sat behind Exeter manager Matt Taylor last night who was taking notes, now we've played them home and away in the league so i can only think he was hoping to drew one of us in the efl trophy or was checking a player out

As did probably everyone in the ground.
No problem when you are sensible.

George Nurse (First half) and Dom Jefferies ran him close though.

Massive 3 points for us last night. What a fantastic performance! I’m glad for the gaffer that the boys finally pulled a good performance out of the bag.

Hopefully will be enough for us to stay up!

Either way, I’ll be on the terraces every week!

:hello1: :hello1: Ole, Ole, Ole...County...County!!! :hello1: :hello1:
