I repeat "that's just not correct"
Dave Jones was a total disaster at Pools.
Padraig wanted away and was left out of the side (denying he refused to play though).
We were negotiating a move for him months before he signed including a fee.
That's fact.
How hard is that to understand?

Never assume anything.
Happy to admit got the story spot on but assumed it was Devante and not Padraig.
Where the heck is he now, never progressed.
Re: Transfer News at 6.30pm
48Amond wasn’t in Hartlepool’s team because he was looking for a move back into League football and that caused some agitation at Hartlepool at the time. Rather than us picking up a player who couldn’t get in a Conference side; I would describe Amond as a marquee signing.
Re: Transfer News at 6.30pm
49Amond recently came second in a website poll of Hartlepool’s best player of the 2010s. Admittedly it was a poor decade for Hartlepool but it illustrates his standing there.
Re: Transfer News at 6.30pm
50The Wiki entry for Gorman clearly says his stats are "as of match played 14 September 2019". I would look at it the other way round and say playing half the games in the side that won the National League last season is a plus point.Frank Nouble 3 wrote: Just 5 games this season for a crap Orient side. You don't even know what position Wilkinson plays.Nelson, Wilkinson, Cameron those types.

Oh yes I do.
For us attacking midfielder.
No he wasn't an outright striker for us albeit that's what you think.
Re: Transfer News at 6.30pm
53One other thing is if it was a choice between Gorman and Joe Ledley, for me it would be Gorman every time.
Re: Transfer News at 6.30pm
54Certainly. Putting it into context, consider that we have just earned £40k from beating MK, and half of that might go into Ledley's bank account.
Re: Transfer News at 6.30pm
55Get your point but what if he was the instigator of an unbeaten run which got us into the play offs.excessbee wrote:Certainly. Putting it into context, consider that we have just earned £40k from beating MK, and half of that might go into Ledley's bank account.
Happy to see £20K disappear then for sure
Re: Transfer News at 6.30pm
56I'm optimistic. In Flynny we trust! There must be some method behind the madness. For example 'Exiles Analytics' on Twitter posted some stats on Billy Waters that make a lot of sense to have got him in for half a season.
Re: Transfer News at 6.30pm
57I'd be pleasantly surprised if he could manage a regular 90 minutes in L2.Frank Nouble 3 wrote: Get your point but what if he was the instigator of an unbeaten run which got us into the play offs.
