King 1 vote

Will follow shortly with on going votes.

Thanks again

What are the chances of that, two voting systems, exactly the same result. Just goes to show that running two votes in tandem puts paid to any claims of vote rigging by disruptive parties... checks and balances and all that. Phew - we got there in the end and it probably now puts the issue to bed. Peace breaks out.
You forget the one contributor with at least 5 current names who I believe is no longer with us , or at least 4 of his imaginary friends.
One of which voted for 2 separate players for the same game.
In fairness the system up and running only allows for 1 user 1 vote.
Marvellous
Appreciate you cannot stop the odd idiot voting just to mess things up.
Think everyone can live with that.
No need to mention names.
As Chamberlain said I believe

"peace in our time"

Look what happened next.
Pedant again... 'Peace for our time'
Evening Pedant.

Google

"Peace in our time"
I know you are just having a laugh.
Hopefully
If not its a concern

4K is right though , It was ‘Peace for our Time’ .. it’s often misquoted as you have as ‘Peace in our Time’.
Google it Exile

The actual speech was called.

"peace in our time"

His actual words were.

"peace for our time"

All good fun

Sure either way it relates to the thread mate.

I don’t need to google it Frank, I took A level history. You said ‘as Chamberlain said’ and 4K just pointed out he didn’t say that ....but yes, just being pedantic I. fairness..

Wish I had concentrated more for my A levels History/Geography and English Lit.
Took them twice and flunked the lot.
My best mate at the time flunked the lot also.
Girls and all the fun more important.
He played for Hartridge Rugby and soccer.
I just was on the periphery of the soccer team.
He ended up being a headmaster in the states.
I ended up being in charge of knocking down the old Power Station behind the ground on Corpa Road.
All good fun

FWIW I was there and King's superb first half saves (especially the one on one) gave us the chance to be in the game for the attackers to make a difference later when they turned up.

It won't count, but my vote was for King by a mile (he performed for 90 minutes for a start, unlike any of the outfielders).
