Back to basics lads. This here round thing is a football. Those two white posts with a bar across them and netting is what is called a goal. Now the object of the game is to kick the ball into the goal in front of you.

Now I know we've spent the last six months learning how to stop the opposition kicking the ball into the goal behind you, and whilst I am happy you can do that, I may have over done it a bit and not spent enough time on er the attacking thingy.

Good Morning....

“Right lads, this is quite an important game, it means a lot to the people who pay your wages. Many (most?)of these people are not as wealthy as you are.
They also go to work, but not as you do, on the football pitch. No one pays to watch them do their work, most are not appreciated for doing their work well, if you go out there and do your work well they will adore you! They will cheer and clap, whoop and sing your name! You will feel fantastic! They will feel fantastic!
Youngsters will look at you as heroes and want to follow in your footsteps. A warm feeling will remain in your soul for a good while as you reflect on how well you did your job, you can do this, just by positive thinking, sheer effort, hard work, awareness, communication and above all a mentality that it is not just another day at work but an opportunity to be part of something big. A collective of thousands of people, all feeling good.....

..... all because you went to work and did it well.
