We had very little bite tonight - we were the home team!

We didn't have a substitute 'keeper in a game where it went to penalties. This is shocking, we had time to get a free transfer in, even it was an ex-retiree, but we should have had a specialist 'keeper on the bench.

The strike force is toothless at the moment, we haven't refreshed it enough.

It's more than this one game. We have some money, it's been stated that we wanted new players but we've mismanaged it.

if you only have ONE fit keeper you can bring in a keeper any time of the season , even outside the transfer window.....Its almost two weeks now since he knew he was injured and still no cover...If King gets injured we are FECKED...Who knows , god forbid he could get injured in the warm up for a game just as Townsend did ...Who have we got as back up ???

One another point how come on a SKY SPORTS TV game we couldn't get a Match Sponsor and had to reply on the Subscription Draw? Also we didn't even get a Match Ball Sponsor at all!!! Come on Commercial Dept - pull your fingers out.

It's not rocket science. Even calling up the Youth team 'keeper would have been better than having no cover at all!!!

Totally agree with 1st comment he has had time and money and he wasted it. Poor singings through the windows (Khan the exception)

What he has done for us saving us from relegation, cup runs and playoff final is great but it's a result business and we're not getting the results or preformance

Its not just one game we are talking about though is it ? . Its a growing trend where we dont look like scoring, dont score and end up losing / missing out on a final and you still believe he deserves time ?
0 shots on target Saturday , 3 shots on target the previous game, 2 timid shots on target this evening and we dont look like scoring...Add to that its 2 goals scored in our last 7 games . What do we do in training??

Who was the lad warming up King tonight he looked decent enough to have for a number 2 for the rest of the season

The team performance seemed to me to be utterly devoid of confidence. It seemed to me that winning on penalties was almost the game plan from about five minutes in.

Taking off Amond was perhaps the most inept decision. He is not the player he was, but he is a player who always gives 100%, and can, as at Maldon turn up at the right place at the right time. Knowing that penalties were likely unless he is injured, Flynn's judgment must be seen as lamentable.

I have always said that Flynn's record has bought him time. But if the display tonight was typical of our season, and reading this board it seems that it is, then my view is that he should be given the rest of the season. But it should be made clear that unless there is a significant improvement, his time is up.

On what I saw tonight, I fear for next year.
