3 years and 3 days

3 years and 3 days ago we lost 4-0 to orient at home . The result left us 11 points from safety and facing certain relegation and possible liquidation (again)
Since then we’ve played and beaten Leicester , Middlesbrough and Leeds. We’ve also drawn with Tottenham held Man City until half time and lost in a Wembley play off final. The club is also now financially stable for the foreseeable future.

If Flynn was to resign tomorrow, should he have a statue erected?

Yes and thank him for what he has done.........

Get a new man in and move on from this shambles he is managing over now

No statue,as you would have to give one to OB for that goal,Podge for those goals,David Hando,Colin in Oz,Handoflucifer, the list is endless. What he does deserve is to walk through Newport with his head held high with what he helped to create. He will have fond memories into his old age knowing that he gave you,me,Corkie,Harps etc some of the greatest incredible memories that we probably never thought would happen to our club. They are memories I will cherish forever, unfortunately, those incredible highs were surrounded by some incredible low dire dark days that are hard to take.So no statue but no hard feelings,if he were to resign tomorrow.

I have no issue with commemorating Flynn when he does go. Perhaps not a statue because by rights you'd have to erect similar edifices for Edinburgh, Addison, Ashurst...the list would go on. Perhaps when County move on from RP (which they surely must do in the foreseeable future) then hospitality boxes can be called after them...

They havent got any worse.....

they still havent or wont win anything

As much as I dislike Mourinho he is still working with another managers signings.Time to judge him is when he brings his own players in or starts to use some of their homegrown talent to suit his style of play( not that he will use them ...oh where have we heard that one...the kids are no good  ).
if your post is aimed as a dig or in support of MF..He has introduced HIS signings into the side. Have they made us better ?
Remember the side we got to the play offs included ....Day , Butler , O'Brien , Demetriou , Bennett, Labadie..None of whch he signed.
His signings for this season , WITH AN INCREASED BUDGET Stojsavljevic , Poleon , Azeez, Ekpittea , Leadbetter, Abrahams ,Waters , Gorman, Khan,Green, Whiteley ,Haynes and King....Have they improved us ??????
We are also stuck with quite a few of those because he gave them two year deals

Oh yeah I forgot KMB who was with us for 18 months and played 17 games...(6 months this season was when he sat on his arse whilst fit for the majority of the time because he and MF had a falling out ) - more great business
