No football, no rugby, almost no sports. What on earth are we all going to do. It’s not a real Saturday
I have four of my grandkids with me overnight so they will keep us busy. The kids have gone to see the ‘Phonics in Cardiff tonight - that is if it hasn’t been called off yet. Bloody Coronavirus has a lot to answer for.

2They better not call it off, I’m on my way to the diff now
Re: Saturday afternoon no football thread
3I'm making another cribbage board and am pondering skillfully.

4In my imaginary, virtual matchday thread we've just taken the lead against Stevenage, a well-worked goal - cross in from Robbie (who is playing as a traditional right winger) and Matt headed home.
The only pressure we're facing is from regular gusts of wind, caused by Stevenage fans all coughing simultaneously.

6We’ll lose it. Stevenage will score in the last minute. It will be an ‘offside’ goal as well.DeePeeNCAFC wrote:In my imaginary, virtual matchday thread we've just taken the lead against Stevenage, a well-worked goal - cross in from Robbie (who is playing as a traditional right winger) and Matt headed home.

10Oh no lost 2-1. Well at least we scored today
Strange substitutions and putting Wilmott in goal for the last 10 minutes was the last straw. Flynn out!

11A really good football thread. Thanks. I'm looking forward to the next game.
Re: Saturday afternoon no football thread
12We couldnt play on the pitch today because it had grass
Our defenders gave their strikers too much space and they punished us...This was ok as we told them not to get too close in case of them catching the virus and we had to call off Tuesdays game at Crawley..
MF was seen in an agitated state after the final whistle as was unsure how the team were getting home as the coach driver has put himself into self isolation and quarantined the coach

Re: Saturday afternoon no football thread
14No football for crowds of circa 3000-4000 spread out outdoors, but the Stereophonics playing inside the motor point arena Cardiff with a crowd of what? more than 6000 in close proximity - not sure what to make of it all really.
Re: Saturday afternoon no football thread
15South Shields had a ground record attendance today of over 3,000 in the NPL as fans went in search of a game. It didn't disappoint with SS beating FC United 5-3.
