Passed away this morning. Had been suffering from dementia for some time but succumbed to the virus.

I have fond memories of Jimmy. He once let me hold the Welsh FA Cup when County were the holders and he brought it home to show the kids in the local school. He once told me that a manager had said to him, "Jimmy, you can't tackle and you can't head. Just stand in some good space and get in their way." But for all that Jimmy spent his entire working life playing or coaching football. It was truly his life's work. Not many can say that.

My wife was one of his carers in the nursing home. She said that he was a true gent.
