A bit embarrassing for the board that we couldn’t offer our player of the year ( in one of the interminable categories) a contract. Even though a first choice CB is retiring, Whilst I understand these are difficult times, surely even the most short-sighted of board members could see a direct swap for one highly valued 1st team player for another.

Really enjoyed watching that. Well done to everyone who won an award. Brilliant to see so many elements of our club recognised - players, college lads, supporters, walking football, We Wear The Same Shirt, ladies' team, work in the community etc etc.
Congrats to Josh Sheehan for winning 5 awards, including Player of the Year (Benno won the Supporters Club award).
Thought the special recognition awards (the video says they were chosen by the directors) were spot on, particularly for the much-missed Gareth Rowlands.
Well done to everyone who made the awards happen in these difficult times. Hopefully we'll all be together again for the next ones.
