The club will start training 6 weeks before the season opens when ever that is.
There will be 17 players training.
Appreciate you and me will probably not be in the ground but you know the boys all 17 of them should be fit.

Can't you see the flaw in your statement? We are not committed to just the seventeen listed. Let me explain. If we get eight weeks notice of a start date, then two weeks recruitment will bring the squad up to a suitable number. That squad (more than seventeen) then commences six weeks pre-season training. For as long as I can remember the finishing touches to the squad has been completed during the final weeks of pre-season (training and friendlies). If I'm not mistaken, wasn't Amond drafted in quite late in the day, when your alter ego thought it was going to be Devante Rodney. For a late arrival, he's been quite useful. Why should this season be any different in this respect?
