Does anyone know when the home kit is due to be released? I thought it was today for some reason but obviously not. Was hoping to buy it in time for a birthday present on the weekend, cutting it a bit fine

The club said in their update a few weeks ago that it would be released during the week commencing 1st September - so we'll see it some time this week, we just don't know what day.

Confirmed now that it'll be unveiled on Friday. From the sneak preview, it looks nice; I just hope it has a collar!

I agree. The number of arguments I have had with people when I say hoops go around stripes go up and down. At long last someone else who thinks as I do.

Maybe it'd be unpopular because it'd look too much like the rugby side, but I wouldn't mind us experimenting with hoops now and again. They're rarely used on football kits, but they always look smart when they do get used (QPR, Doncaster etc).

It's funny how you get loads of striped football kits and barely any hoops, yet it's the other way around in rugby. I wonder how that came about...?

I can think of only a couple of RL clubs who have worn vertical stripes - Warrington in Superleague and Newcastle in Australia - and neither currently. It just doesn't look right. None in union.
