Yay. Had feared the worst.
Sorry for doubting you, lads.
Re: GRANDSTAND: Exiles 'v' Swans
92Very good result. Too early to say but I am far more hopeful now than I was two hours ago.
Re: GRANDSTAND: Exiles 'v' Swans
93Something special happening at Rodney today!
Come on Iceland, make my day

Re: GRANDSTAND: Exiles 'v' Swans
94Great attitude from the off to play football, as opposed to some of the dire 'hoofball' witnessed last season; good energy levels throughout, fitness looking good.

Re: GRANDSTAND: Exiles 'v' Swans
96A win on the day, but the ingredients are far from ideal, still believe we are going to be in a dog fight when it comes to the league, as for Lab`s booking, I see him missing at least 20% of the games during the season through ill discipline, and that`s only one player, the real work starts next week.
Ps is that correct one off our new signings cost circa £800k

Re: GRANDSTAND: Exiles 'v' Swans
97One observation today as a ref please lads when ref blows whistle don't kick ball away you will pick up silly cards for that
Re: GRANDSTAND: Exiles 'v' Swans
98Unfortunately the pitch come Dec onwards will dictate the football we play. I’ve walked across a couple of times and at its worst it’s just horrendous ..... even the elite wouldn’t be able to play carpet football on it.
Re: GRANDSTAND: Exiles 'v' Swans
99Your undoubtedly correct. Thought even today it looked a little bobbly at times.Justanordinaryfan wrote:Unfortunately the pitch come Dec onwards will dictate the football we play. 100Good all round performance today - one midfield player away from a useful side to replace Labs - same old falls over too much slowing game momentum and getting booked on half way line pointless there was no danger.flat4 wrote:A win on the day, but the ingredients are far from ideal, still believe we are going to be in a dog fight when it comes to the league, as for Lab`s booking, I see him missing at least 20% of the games during the season through ill discipline, and that`s only one player, the real work starts next week.

101Thought he was superb ..... he played there in the Rovers kick about a few weeks ago ..... just get ether feeling we’d get done a few times if he played there permanently? . .... agree though he was superb today.welshbred wrote:Very impressed with Dolan at the back today

104I say chaps, what a spiffing result. One is most gratified with such a splendid performance.
Re: GRANDSTAND: Exiles 'v' Swans
105Impressive result.
Shame our new signing didn't make the bench.
Guess still recovering from kicking the advertisement board last week.
Whats that comment above £800K?
