Still playing at 53 !! Wow what a man

Great achievement however,reading through,he only played three times last season and just two this one.He is an icon who is there more as a figurehead these days but,still a great thing.I played against a fella known as Boxer in the Newport and District who played for the other Rogie team called Oaks United.He played until he was 57 and clocked up 1000 appearances,that game was down the Welfare against Rogie thirds,I know it was amateur but,to play every week for that long was some achievement.
