Not in the squad yesterday as rumoured to be not ready for the step up to league football. Nearly 200 non league appearances, tall, strong, yet Woodwiss with alot less experience gets in. Longe-King is only on a 1yr deal so hope he gets a chance.

He seemed pretty OK from those highlight vids. Hopefully he's not on the same trajectory as Ekpiteta...

As I said on the podcast the other week, his signing struck me as a punt - a non-league player signed on a one-year deal, in the hope and belief that we can improve him to Div 4 standard. So I’m not surprised we didn’t play him against second-tier opposition in the Type 2 Diabetes Cup last Saturday.

As CountyMadBel says, playing him tomorrow night in the Spotafan Trophy makes sense to gauge his abilities at our level. FWIW, I think he’s capable of making the step up but it’ll take time.
