Quote from MF:-
“I wasn’t being funny on Tuesday night, I can tell you it’s in the groin area but if you want to know the ins and outs of the injury then you are better off speaking to the physio because he could put you down the right path,” said Flynn.

“There’s a lot of terminology and differences to what I would say, so I don’t want to say the wrong thing.

“I don’t want to put an exact timeframe on it because it depends on how he reacts in the first four to six weeks. We are probably looking at double that, more like 12 weeks.

Sounds like he’s sustained an injury somewhere a bit, er, private. Hence Flynn being coy about it

Yes saw MF’s appraisal of the injury.
Some sort of groin injury.
Likely to be out for approx 12 weeks depending on severity of injury and his recovery.

There’s an important online poll about this subject taking place now until about 8pm tonight. Get voting, democracy-lovers.

Wonder if Inniss is available for a half season loan. He won't be making the Palace team and he has shown he can manage at our level. I know he's got his faults, but at least he is a known quantity to plug a gap in the squad.

Much rather we went for a defender who can carry the ball out, which Longe-King looks to be from his highlights clip. Howkins can be the Big Lump.

Do we need another centre back? Currently, we have:

Mickey D
Howkins
Benno
Cooper
Dolan
Woodiwiss

I'll include Dolan as he has played there several times for us and did really well vs the Swans.

I think we can do much better than Inniss

There is no need for another CB and Inniss is a liability anyway. We have up to six options and we may not play with three CB’s regularly so,more than enough.

Did he get injured vs Scunthorpe? I never knew he was injured.

Former Brentford full back Canice Carroll is available after his trial at Doncaster came to nothing. Young and quick, Brentford normally make reliable signings from the lower leagues so he must have something about him.

Currently we don't need another centre back but we could do with another central midfield player.

Wouldn't touch him with a barge pole. Have heard from several sources that the guy has an attitude problem.
