Letter to Shaun Johnson.

Just to update you on where I’m at. I’ve recommenced writing a strategic proposal and recommendation paper, which I started some time ago, but gave up when I felt no-one was prepared to even engage in conversation

I am preparing some key statistics for the first of many opportunities I see for a discretionary trust supporting the Sporting Teams of Newport and other Newport Good causes.

Did you know the COGS of a typical beauty product is 12/15% of retail?

I also see that this initiative can be worked to support the Stadium Development Fund, should they so wish to engage. This together with the re-engagement of the Friends of Newport County AFC Group on Linkedin should be a tremendous mix, just requiring a catalyst.

I’ll leave it at that for now, until we can arrange our Zoom meeting

Colin,

There is a stadium group meeting on the 14th, 8-00pm UK time. Why not come to that? You would be more than welcome and you can expand upon your many ideas.

5am Sydney time! Let me work on an excuse to be out of bed at that time of the morning, when I flew back for the promotion game I upgraded from economy at the gate, but my hubby still doesn't know! So keep it quiet.

RE Resources sought.

Are there any soap, candle or bathbomb maker hobbyists on this list? Does anyone have access to approx 1500sq metres of warehousing,( Preferably with room for expansion) access to racking, knowledge of local packaging suppliers, knowledge of law relating to cosmetic sales in the UK/Europe (Note from a wholesaler prioritised perspective)? Knowledge of UK trust laws (Discretionary Trusts), rudimentary IT skills, book-keeping, marketing/web marketing skills.

This all may sound intimidating, but our Aussie business, is run by my husband and 4 part time staff working 4 days a week.). We intend all our future businesses to promote three day weekends. We would encourage the Sports Trust, if it proceeds to do the same.
