No. But had they not sold Ronaldo a twelvemonth later he went for nothing. In terms a cost of £84,600,000 for one season had they not sold him to Madrid.

County struggled last season. Losing O'Brien and now potentially Sheehan is leaving a big hole.
And Sheehan can leave for nothing at the end of this season as have other players we could have received fee for by selling when under contract - how much would we have received for Butler, Day, Hughes, Byrne?
Absolutely right to sell anyone who gets a reasonable offer at our level, there are many free replacements in terms of fee available - it is readily possible that a sale of Sheehan could pay two- three annual wage packets.
How much did/will we receive for Sheehan? Unless you know that you can't gauge how good/bad a sale it is/was.

Anything is possible when you know nothing, don't ya think?

Equally anything better than nothing and remember he has not been without serious injury L2 need to cash in when you can - not many players get sold for cash at our level.

That's nonsense.

Would you think £5,000 for Sheehan a good price, or would you forgo £5,000 in order to have Sheehan for a season.

I agree that everyone has a value, but the idea that anything is better than nothing is simply wrong.

I would expect the decision to start getting interesting upwards of £30k in any event he is in the team so probably a waste of discussion as if a move was imminent I don’t think he would be playing.
