The Newcastle tie will make it 8 games in September. We already have 8 games lined up for October and could quite easily have 8 more in both November and December if we win a couple of FA Cup games. Rotating the squad is going to be crucial. If that means resting players for the EFL Trophy then great. Joke of a competition, completely devalued by U21s entering.

Flynn and the club have got it spot on so far - a calculated gamble to get a Sky TV slot has paid off. £125k+ in the coffers. Profile of club and manager raised further.

Yes the calculated gamble certainly has paid off. Such a tragedy that the game is to be played behind closed doors instead of a what would almost certainly been a full house. At least the management cannot be criticized for that.
