Port Vale Match Report

Postby markvickery » November 21st, 2020, 10:59 pm

Ellison again showed his value coming off the bench and after scoring several late goals against County over the years, it was poet justice for many fans today. Credit to County for persistence and retaining belief. Thought Vale made a good fist of the game and it was a decent win today.

Next up Walsall at home which is likely to be less open and frantic

Very good analysis as ever. I enjoy reading them.

One thing. In your player assessments you said Shepherd missed 3 opportunities in the first half. He certainly did. Apologies if I didn’t see it but I missed that in your match report of the first half.

We are certainly doing better as a team than we did last year. Long may it continue.

Your spot on - had trouble keeping up with the chances first half. modern wing backs....very watchable game today
