I'm hearing rumours that all is not well 12 miles down the road.....
Lose tonight and Saturday and Mr Harris could be booking the removal men to help him move back to London..
Guess who is in the top 5 choices to replace him ???
Re: Let the rumours start
3Flynn to Cardiff doubled up with Pulis to Newport would seem to me to be a not unreasonable bet.
Re: Let the rumours start
5What's the odds on two Pill boys being mentioned in the same breath in this context?
Re: Let the rumours start
6Cardiff are a good opportunity for somebody. They have a fairly good squad but need consistency to kick on up the league. There's time this season starting from where they are now, 14th with 24 games to play.
Re: Let the rumours start
7People I know at the club say Vincent Tan gave Harris a target of top 6 by January, it might still be achievable by the end of Jan.
Injuries to key men like Keifer Moore* and Tomlin haven't helped, but they've got arguably the best player in the division in Harry Wilson so they should be doing better.
* About 3 seasons ago I watched Moore fairly regularly at FGR and I was convinced he was no better than a conference standard player. He's done well to make the most of his ability and push on.
I think Cardiff will make a decision on Harris in the summer, fail to make the play-offs and Mark Hughes will be in the hot seat.

Re: Let the rumours start
8Cardiff are only 2.5 games off relegation given Rotherham have games in hand. If they keep dropping then no way Tan sticks with Harris. That said, I don't think they'd go to Flynn for a relegation scrap. Pulis would be the perfect short term hire.
Re: Let the rumours start
9Tan wants Cardiff back in the Premiership,is Flynny the man to do that, the answer would be no.He has done a magnificent job for us but,he still makes some odd decisions which shows he still has to learn his trade first.Harris is under pressure to deliver whereas Flynny has no pressure here with less expectations so unless a L1 or L2 team offer financial rewards,Flynny will stay here for now.
