After raising over £3,000 from the Newcastle game, I've decided to setup another fund raising page to help make up some of the lost revenue for the upcoming Brighton game. If you can't donate then please spread the word.
To save me rambling on, I'll paste what I've written on the fund raising page:
To quote what we hear so many players say these days....
We go again.
After an extremely tough year, lets try and start this one with some positivity and start this year as we mean to go on.
After our previous fund raising campaign raised over £3,000 for our club, lets try to raise some much needed revenue again. Given the amount of money this upcoming match against Brighton and Hove Albion would have brought in, a couple of quid from every fan that would have gone through the turnstiles will help our club enormously.
We have yet another Premier League team coming to Rodney Parade, but this time without the fans present. Think how much you would have spent buying a round of pints in Bar Amber, or a hot dog under the terrace. If we can all chip in with a few quid then it can go a long way for our club.
As a fan owned club, I feel we have a responsibility to help in every little way that we can. Be it financially, through volunteering or just spreading the word about Newport County. If you can't help in a financial sense then please do your best to spread the word about this project.
All the money raised from this will go straight to the club, helping to keep Newport County going as strong as possible in these tough financial times.

Re: FUND RAISER PART 2
2Recalling the generous response from Newcastle supporters, a message on the Brighton forum would help. I expect you've already done this. Well done, again, on this initiative.
Re: FUND RAISER PART 2
3Well done Jamie great initiative just donated.
Let's see how much virtual matchday income we can generate.

4It's in my plans and to aim for their supporters club on twitter etc. Literally just set it to go live, so will be bombarding them all today.

5Don't mention the last time we played them!jamiencafc wrote:It's in my plans and to aim for their supporters club on twitter etc. Literally just set it to go live, so will be bombarding them all today.
Like the idea of featuring Ben White.
Re: FUND RAISER PART 2
6Haha I remember that game very well. Not such a good day for Byron Anthony sadly.
I've messaged Ben White privately on twitter, so fingers crossed he can push it out.

Re: FUND RAISER PART 2
7Great idea Jamie. I see it's up to £875 now and several Brighton fans have chipped in.

9Well that comes a commendable second to 'Apart from that Mrs Kennedy did you enjoy your visit to Dallas?'jamiencafc wrote: Not such a good day for Byron Anthony sadly.
Re: FUND RAISER PART 2
10Over £1100 already raised, with Brighton fans (like Newcastle) already contributing greatly.
Re: FUND RAISER PART 2
11Great initiative!
Looks like it's getting some good exposure so far!
Not sure how you would go about it but could this be mentioned in the bt sports coverage before kick off?..

Re: FUND RAISER PART 2
14Good Morning!
Looks to be just over £2500 now, that’s excellent!
I notice a lot of Brighton supporters have donated, well done to them!
Come on County fans, let’s keep this appeal at the top of the board!
Phil in Northampton

15Repeating what Phil has just said, what a great start this has been.
It'll be an amazing achievement if we can reach the stretched target of 4k.
