I suppose that the game must be dull if you start.wondering what the ref does for a living 30 minutes in. Have to say whilst not a classic I've seen much worse.

More comfortable on ball but where is the creativity- Farkey is looking an accident waiting to happen.

Walsall certainly don’t look anything special and we had the better chances. We seem to lack confidence still and maybe just need a bit of luck to get us believing in ourselves again.
Just crying out for someone to run at the defenders with the ball at pace. That seems best suited to Sheehan at the moment as he is getting a bit more forward than recent games.

Shep is getting in good positions but his final ball is not good.

Yeah a pretty good first half (we shaded it) - just need to solve the problem as to how to score..

Box to box passing is much better but nobody can make a decent cross / pass into the penalty area. If only Shephard and Haynes could improve this aspect of their games. May as well play with 9 players as Maynard and Telford hardly getting a look in, apart from the one chance that Maynard had.

Farky looking the best of the bunch. Dolan and Haynes steady enough, Shepard cannot defend at all but puts the odd cross in, Sheehan way too deep but still mainly going sideways or backwards, Gambin on to replace Bennetts, Maynard should've passed to Telford! Thought Lavery and Demetriou was a 50:50
