A welcome three points but,I can’t understand why Benno is the attacking midfielder,he is a solid stopper and DM,he can’t thread passes through for the front two.Sheehan can pass and create things but,he is playing DM where not only is he wasted but he is a liability there.Twice he nearly cost goals,Dolan passes to him and he lets it run and loses the ball, then he does his pirouette, gets tackled and they have a shot on goal.Just swap them.

Saturdays game back at RP will put a true indication on where we are in coming to terms how we deal with the playing surface, instead of worrying about it, get on with it and adapt on the day, other teams have some very successfully, so again there are no excuses on inability by both playing staff and management not to succeed

The proof will be in the pudding as they say.
Sorry that's rubbish we where the better side last night by far
The stat`s tell a different story.

I guess you didn't watch the game then. We put in by no means a free flowing football masterclass but we were easily the better of the two sides last night.

Agree with you there, JS got picked off a few times at Walsall not to mention that dreadful back pass to Townie last week which resulted in the pen.
I think the opposition have got him (JS) sussed now.

Yep that's why

For that to be correct every club without two other rugby teams sharing their pitch, no hang on a sec, three rugby teams sharing must have a millionaire backer.[/quote]

We were talking specifically about FGR but I can see your point. However, there are many clubs throughout the football league, and conference, that have backers/owners/conglomerates that plough money into clubs for infrastructure, stadia and playing squads. At present, County don't.

Never rely on stats to tell you the realities of a match. The stats after the Exeter game will tell you we absolutely battered a nine-man team. We didn't, of course.
Last night we were the better team. We played some very good football in patches and at other times we looked nervous and lacking in confidence. Hopefully 3 points will help will reduce the nerves and boost the confidence.

If you care to take a look at the stat`s on the club website you will see a different story as these are likely taken from the clubs own system gathering equipment. Don`t be fooled by what you see on the pitch, what I will say, there is signs of a improvement in the the effort put in by the players, but there is still a long way to go.

Stat`s are a very important to the coaching staff and are used to great effect when it comes to identifying short falls within the game, and if used properly will in turn help the coaching staff to improve the team/squad collectively.
