How's the pitch looking?
Anyone know? Hopefully its good grass growing weather and a few bags of grass seed will see us through til the end of the season!
Re: How's the pitch looking?
I think I heard the 73 blades of grass left were looking for company

Re: How's the pitch looking?
Been past a few times and there's plastic sheeting on it don't know why

Are they painting it green?

Interesting that Wales Women's next match (the first under Gemma Grainger) will be played at Legoland on 9 April rather than at Rodney Parade as usual. No doubt partly due to the quality of the respective pitches.
The game will be on iPlayer, and a 7.15pm kick-off for those wanting to tune in. Given the dross that's usually on during early evenings, it's a shame it's not on proper telly.

So they've relayed the whole pitch then
Or just perhaps that's an old picture, I'd say circa August 2020

And now our game against Mansfield has been moved to 6pm the same night which is an unfortunate clash.

Zooming in seems to show what looks like spots of foam, is this just a guide for the lawn mowers?

Ground staff will cut it later today and I’ll post a pick tomorrow.
Some seed has germinated so it looks a little better

That doesn't sound like it's really made much of a difference, beyond drying out.

Better to under-promise and over-deliver.
The new-ish Parramatta RL stadium in Sydney staged three games on successive days after having about a foot of rain and three weeks into the new season doesn't look much better than RP did.
