I can't remember him playing for us

Young lad probably with us for two or three seasons. Scored quite a few goals.....'Beaver'. Semi-professional footballer would be a better description.

Unrecognisable now. He formed a really good partnership with Karl Bayliss.

Debut 22/11/95
League 82 starts + 48 off the bench, 36 goals;
Cups 23 + 7, 11 goals.
Total all comps 105 + 55, 47 goals.

I remember him well, was a very good striker at that level. Although his timing of jumping for headers was awful.

So sad to see the state of him now, doesn't even look like the same person.

To be fair, I think most long term fans try to block out the memory of those years in the wilderness.

No was a season ticket holder and have been for long time

I remember Beaver well. Around the same time as Karl Bayliss & Carl Dale. Beaver was rumoured to be being watched by league clubs as he was that good. Nothing came of it of course. Sad fall from grace to see him now.
